National Institute of Standards and Technology

NIST is an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce and this booth will be highlighting the work that NIST is doing in support of industry efforts to develop voluntary performance standards for industrial machine vision systems and autonomous mobile robots and manipulators. Apparatuses at the booth will showcase some of the tests that are being considered for measuring the depth error, depth resolution, and bin picking performance of 3D imaging systems used for these applications.
