Dr. Howie Choset is the CTO of Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM). He is also a Professor of Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, where he serves as the co-director of the Bio-robotics Lab and as director of the Robotics Major. Dr. Choset received his undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Business from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, and his Masters and PhD from Caltech in 1991 and 1996. Dr. Choset is a sought-after speaker at many robotics industry conferences around the word, including those offered by the IEE/IROS and RIA. He was most recently seen on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, demonstrating his snake robot.
